I was always a fan of Jack Dempsey. I read a lot about him and Marciano.
Once a reporter asked Dempsey how he had persevered in those long boxing matches of 50 to 75 rounds.
Dempsey replied, "After each round I'd go to my corner, sit and tell myself, 'I'm just gonna fight one more round'."
I think Tuney is the one who finally cleaned his clock.
Correct about Tunney, in the long count fight.
I love the bright green font! Good work.
I'd like to see monthly updates of your favorite boxers to root for.
